OpeMed has delivered design expertise and transfer and care equipment for the Lynwood Nursing and Residential Home in Berkshire. We have installed ceiling hoists and ceiling tracking for 69 of the new Nursing Home and Dementia rooms including bedrooms, wet-rooms, assisted bathrooms and the rehabilitation and leisure swimming pools.
Nursing Home ceiling hoist systems installed by OpeMed throughout another large nursing home. The design, specification and supply of 9 assisted bedroom to bathroom ceiling hoist systems was completed by OpeMed. The specification included the provision of XY to XY ceiling track hoists, bespoke curved ceiling track and bariatric ceiling hoists for upto 400kg ceiling hoist transfer.
OpeMed’s involvement on this renovation project has been from the very beginning at planning stage in order to ensure maximum results for the customer in terms of budget, aesthetics and efficiency.
OpeMed designed connecting H Systems or XY-to-XY (bedroom to bathroom) throughout the home, with the unique compact OT200 ceiling hoists, and 2 specialist bariatric rooms with fixed track with curves from bedroom to bathroom.
OpeMed can advise at the architect stage, help with the layout decision with the client as well as install and support with our service department. By involving OpeMed early on in the project can bring substantial savings in terms of any structural changes required (such as door headers, ceiling supports etc).
